Grabbed my Stylus & Intous, and started doodling a jumping figure. Came up with the idea of Snowboarding.

Coincidently my flatmate showed me a documentary film on Snowboarding that later day, called "The Art of Flight". A MUST watch for the snowboarding lovers and even for the Beautiful shots.

Made this in half an hour and made it as my wallpaper too.

I dont know why but im in a phase of exaggerating the angles, shots and the poses too. Sketching action poses from these wierd angles are FUNNNN.

Another illustration... of my Final Animation Project's character Anant, who is in depression and has killed some one..

The way from the eyes back to the ear is shown through tunnels. It means, that he has two ways now...

1- Confession or killing himself of the guilt : If he choses the 1st, then he will be free, which goes upwards to his brain forming into tree which is blown by a smooth breeze and letting the leaves fly.

2- Suppressing the crime that he did inside him : then he will bury the matter and go deep into his ground which is being soiled by his grief and sorrow.

Did in Photoshop and Intous. No filters, no blur effects...If you look closely then you'll see rough brush strokes.

She is our Indian Goddess of art, music, literature, knowledge and creativity. She is seen with veena, lotus leaves and rudraksha.

But in this I have tried to give it the Contemporary look.

Sketched it first by hand, and then painted it. Removed the lines from it.Trying out new style!!!

Did the direct drawing with Rotoring ink and filled the color later with PS... Then I thought of coloring only few important parts(felt lil lazy too)

I wanted to make some moment of Batman after his victory and checking his wounds inside a sewer lane.

Wanted to do some realistic Batman (my all time fav superhero)...

I was asked to do 2 illustrations for the COVERPAGE of a drawing book in A3... theme: RAMP ATTACK "Alice in Wonderland".

First, i drew the red one, but I wasnt happy with that... then I thought of making it in my own mural style(with keeping ALICE IN WONDERLAND) in my mind.

MAHABHARAT - The best Indian epic ever

I wanted to sketch some mythological characters with some features from my Animation classmates. After along time I have sat for 6-7hours only for penciling and then 4hours for inking.

Here you can see... Lord Krishna with his brother Balrama, with Pandavas(Yudhistra, Bhim, Arjun, Nakul and Sehdev)

Lord Krishna in the centre standing, with the slimy look. Because he knew what will happen in the great battle MAHABHARATA.

Balrama was his brother who was very strong and brave.

Yudhishtra in the centre below. He was the eldest of all. You can see him in yogasana. I have made him floating in the air. As people say that in Mahabharata, he never lies, because of that he used to walk the above the ground.

Bhim with a small sword. His built was "larger than life" in Mahabharata.

Arjun with arrow pointing, who was the best archer in Mahabharata.

Nakul and Sehdev were the youngest of them. Nakul with a big long spear and Sehdev with a bow and tattoo on his back.

"Kaali"... The Goddess

Legend has it that Kaali adorned herself with a garland of skulls; intoxicated with the demon's blood she engaged in a dance of victory, destroying all that crossed her path.

Kaali in her fearful form associated with cremation grounds and corpses stands as a reminder of the inevitability of death and decay.

Took me around 6hours to make this in Photoshop.

She has got an integrated time machine. The Chest has a Time Machine Quartz.

Right hand is an hour hand and left hand is a minute hand. The numbers(hh:mm) come out of the Small Quartz(on her Hand)

She was made by a PERSON who wants to rule the world.( That PERSON is still under the Process) And when she does this process, it Hurts her a lottt...That's why I have tried to show her in pain and as a diseased person.

Me and my friends usually sit with pencils and sketch books in a night mess of NID(after 12 just like oder NIDians). We came up with a thought of creating some character who is a Human + Robo + Can fly & swim + 3 weapons.

So I just came out with this character which I named "RAY"... Have started working on PS. Late I might work on him in MAYA also.

This is a one page Graphic Novel that we had to do for our "3 days Graphic novel workshop" in NID.

Its a TRUE story on my friend Siddharth, 20 years old, who died in a bike accident last year. He was going to Jaipur with his friends in Superbike. He had Hayabusa 1300CC. On his way, on Jaipur Highway, he had head-to-head collision with an LPG truck...

This was my work when I came to NID in 2006 for my 1st Interview(which I dint get through) and I knew that I wont, because my work wasn't good....

THEN, after the realization on that day only, I made this work after my interview in NID only. I started to create my portfolio with this work for the next attempt in NID(in which I got through)

This work took me 2 days.
