Themepark's Safety Video - Treatment and Character Explorations

A project that had come to FHOA, for a themepark's safety video's concepts and character designs. Had to come up with many characters for Dr. Roy and also with the treatment for the various animated safety videos too. We were 3 people (Aditya Yadav and Neerav Doshi) who came up with the characters above. Later the character designed by my was taken into the consideration.

SAMSUNG - Visualization and storyboarding

A commercial we did for the Samsung Tab. Brainstorming with the client and the Creative Head of FHOA, we came up with this visualization. Matte Painting - For Disney's Channel

A Matte Painting, of one of the background for the commercial of Disney's Princess Products. . . Have used more than 20 images and then Color Correction, masking and all to give it a feel of a fantasy forest. Done in Photoshop. Its on air too. CnC please.

The Dark Knight - in Sculptris

I was very fascinated with SCULPTRIS, a new 3D sculpting software launched by PIXOLOGIC "the makers of ZBrush". A software which is very easy to use and funnnn too. I took the opportunity to throw together a quick speed sculpt. I wasn't going for refined precision - more just going for something that looks interesting and gets done quickly. No reference, but had been playing THE DARK KNIGHT movie on VLC(Always on top) side by side. This represents about 5 hours of sculpting in the office, and then the colored version in Photoshop. An assignment where we were asked to do a short film based on a batchmate, but the condition was to portray the opposite side of him/her.

The Silent Film

One day sitting idle in our animation studio,
with my new Canon DSLR,
thought of doing some keeda work.
Called my friends Mayur and Abhilash Jose,
Shared the idea of using the white board etc
and started the shoot...done in 4hrs.
Rest...just hit the PLAY button :)

Has been Officially nominated in BEST EXPERIMENTAL ANIMATION in ASIFA 2010.

Hindustan Vintage Car

Got an opportunity to sketch this Hindustan Vintage Car (1950) in Guwahati.

Did the sketch with black pen and then digitalised it later.

Extreme Sports - Snowboarding

Grabbed my Stylus & Intous, and started doodling a jumping figure. Came up with the idea of Snowboarding.

Coincidently my flatmate showed me a documentary film on Snowboarding that later day, called "The Art of Flight". A MUST watch for the snowboarding lovers and even for the Beautiful shots.

Made this in half an hour and made it as my wallpaper too.

My Trip to Darjeeling

My Trip to Darjeeling in Jan 2012.

Sketched the car journey, acquaintances, Darjeeling road and also a privilege to sketch The Steam Engine.

Made this composition of individual sketches and colored them later in digital.

Cowboy

I dont know why but im in a phase of exaggerating the angles, shots and the poses too. Sketching action poses from these wierd angles are FUNNNN.

Its been a longgg time that I havent updated my blog. Was in Assam from the past 2months. Working with NID on a NE Textile Project. Did this sketch over there only, water color it and den used brush pen.
