Yun hota toh kya hota!!!

An assignment where we were asked to do a short film based on a batchmate, but the condition was to portray the opposite side of him/her.

The Silent Film

One day sitting idle in our animation studio,
with my new Canon DSLR,
thought of doing some keeda work.
Called my friends Mayur and Abhilash Jose,
Shared the idea of using the white board etc
and started the shoot...done in 4hrs.
Rest...just hit the PLAY button :)

Has been Officially nominated in BEST EXPERIMENTAL ANIMATION in ASIFA 2010.

Hindustan Vintage Car

Got an opportunity to sketch this Hindustan Vintage Car (1950) in Guwahati.

Did the sketch with black pen and then digitalised it later.

Extreme Sports - Snowboarding

Grabbed my Stylus & Intous, and started doodling a jumping figure. Came up with the idea of Snowboarding.

Coincidently my flatmate showed me a documentary film on Snowboarding that later day, called "The Art of Flight". A MUST watch for the snowboarding lovers and even for the Beautiful shots.

Made this in half an hour and made it as my wallpaper too.

My Trip to Darjeeling

My Trip to Darjeeling in Jan 2012.

Sketched the car journey, acquaintances, Darjeeling road and also a privilege to sketch The Steam Engine.

Made this composition of individual sketches and colored them later in digital.

Cowboy

I dont know why but im in a phase of exaggerating the angles, shots and the poses too. Sketching action poses from these wierd angles are FUNNNN.

Its been a longgg time that I havent updated my blog. Was in Assam from the past 2months. Working with NID on a NE Textile Project. Did this sketch over there only, water color it and den used brush pen.
