The Dark Knight - in Sculptris

I was very fascinated with SCULPTRIS, a new 3D sculpting software launched by PIXOLOGIC "the makers of ZBrush". A software which is very easy to use and funnnn too. I took the opportunity to throw together a quick speed sculpt. I wasn't going for refined precision - more just going for something that looks interesting and gets done quickly. No reference, but had been playing THE DARK KNIGHT movie on VLC(Always on top) side by side. This represents about 5 hours of sculpting in the office, and then the colored version in Photoshop. A view from my workplace(Ahmedabad). . . thought of capturing it digitally with rough strokes.

Did in Photoshop and Intous. No filters, no blur effects...If you look closely then you'll see rough brush strokes.

Batman speedpaint

Speedpaint of Batman...

Did this in half an hour or so...Worked with Intous4 for the first time....Fell in love with it.

Batman . . . wounded

. . . He doesn't care about his wounds when his foes are in front of him...He doesn't care about Himself.

I wanted to make some moment of Batman after his victory and checking his wounds inside a sewer lane.

Wanted to do some realistic Batman (my all time fav superhero)...

Took me around 5-7hours in Photoshop....

Did by WACOM after a lonnnng time... Ironman is currently falling into my list of FAV SUPERHEROES...!!!

BATMAN

One of my fav superhero, no need of introduction of him.

Wanted to create Batman wid my style(yet inspired by other great artists). hope u'll like it.

Done by hand...later colored in Photoshop.

"Kaali"... The Goddess

Legend has it that Kaali adorned herself with a garland of skulls; intoxicated with the demon's blood she engaged in a dance of victory, destroying all that crossed her path.

Kaali in her fearful form associated with cremation grounds and corpses stands as a reminder of the inevitability of death and decay.

Took me around 6hours to make this in Photoshop.

UNFOLD

A digital painting... just sat with my Wacom and came out wid this revealing, a scandalized scenario where a MAHARAJA is sitting on a shit pot. Just a humor touch in it.

This is my first ever post in ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY...with a topic of this frinday(12th Jun 2009) was UNFOLD.

She has got an integrated time machine. The Chest has a Time Machine Quartz.

Right hand is an hour hand and left hand is a minute hand. The numbers(hh:mm) come out of the Small Quartz(on her Hand)

She was made by a PERSON who wants to rule the world.( That PERSON is still under the Process) And when she does this process, it Hurts her a lottt...That's why I have tried to show her in pain and as a diseased person.

Did this in Photoshop. This artwork is before the BLUE SPARK , that is why I spent 5-6 hours on it. Took many references, as in for eyes, hair, nose etc.
